Legal Services of Northern Virginia

Legal Services of Northern Virginia is the largest legal aid organization in Virginia. They partner with other legal aid organizations, state and local bar associations, and the courts to serve the region’s low-income and most in need populations. LSNV’s primary goal is to prevent homelessness caused by unnecessary evictions, illegal lockouts, unfair charges, illegal utility cut-offs, or discrimination based upon a mental or physical disability. VALegalAid, maintained by the Virginia Poverty Law Center, is a guide to free and low cost civil legal information and services in Virginia. They provide housing legal resources, including legal information and help regarding evictions, landlord and tenants issues, and subsidized housing resources.
